Multiplication and Division

Hi my name is Millie I am from Wesley intermediate and today for my maths I did a Maths DLO on multiplication and division.

   I found this task easy but one thing I think I  need to work on is making it more presentably thank you for tuning into my blog. 

My reading task

Hi my name is Millie and I am from Wesley intermediate school and this is my reading task for week 8.
What we had to do is to answer comments that my teacher had leafed on a reading task, and we had to answer them. These are some of the comments he leafed

Why do you think this company would want to help improve the lives of people in developing countries? I answer
Because it is a nice kind thing to do.

That will help people

And to support people

And will maybe help their business.   

The next comment was What do you think Ewan Cameron means when he says "Very high profits always come at the expense of someone else? This is what I said I think He means he gets money from all the products he sells.

I think this task was easy. One thing I should work on is making sure I understand all the comments/question's and making sure I understand them well.

Tonga language and culture week

Hi my name is Millie I am from Wesley intermediate and today we had a Tongan culture presentation.
And the boys did  the Haka and the girls dance. All of the boys and girls family came and put money  in there dress's.Then we came back to class and Mr Walker made as sing the Tongan alphabet  here is the video .video 

my reading task for week 7

Hi my name is Millie I am from Wesley intermediate and this is my reading task for week 7.  I decided to  do my reading task on wonder by R.J Palacio. I think I need to work on  under standing the task more. I found this task a bit hard a first glance but then It was easy. My LO. was to make judgements about character's motivations. here is a screen shot of my work.

 

My writing task

Hi my name is Millie I am from Wesley intermediate and this is my writing task for week 7.  My LO. was to understand the different types of sentences and when I can use them. These are the types of sentences I had to do simple (example). I like playing rugby but my friends don’t. The next one is compound (example) I like rugby but my friend Ingrid likes swimming. And the last one is complex (example).Despite, the distractions around me I still try to get my work done.

One thing I think I need to work on is making my sentences more descriptive.  Here is my hole task.
